Goodwill Industries
Albion Job Club provides van transportation to workshops offered in Battle Creek where participants gain employability and life management skills. Some of our participants have been hired by Goodwill upon completion of the workshop.
HRDI
HRDI of Albion, a non-profit corporation, provides employment services to dislocated workers. HRDI works with Work First participants who enroll and provide assistance in finding employment.
Friend of the Court
Friend of the Court refers unemployed and underemployed (working less than 40 hours per week) Non Custidial Parents to Work First who are having difficulty paying their child support obligations. Work First assists these eligible participants with employment-related services, training, and supportive services to obtain full time employment in order to meet their child support obligations.
Employment Group
In the past six months we have been working very closely with the Employment Group of Marshall. Several of our participants are registered with them and are placed on long term assignments. The Employment Group allows us to have the application packets in our office so that participants are able to complete this before going to register, which saves time and allows the Employment Group to place the customer in employment quickly.
