Branch Highlights



Crotty Corporation from Quincy recently provided group interview orientation for participants. Congratulations to all of our participants and a special thanks to BJ and Julie from partner agency Michigan Human Resources Development Incorporation (HRDI) for sharing this job opportunity with the Work First and Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Out-of-School Youth population.



WIA Youth, Work First, and Food Stamp participants have attended training held at Kellogg Community College. Anne Lown, Kellogg Community College Instructor, partnered with Branch Job Club in developing this program.

Topics included:

Safety on the job
Problem solving and conflict resolution
Following basic written and verbal instructions
Customer satisfaction
Shop math
Computer applications.



Ann Lown
Ann Lown, Human resources manager, college instructor, Workforce Developement Board member, and corporate trainer, presented a workshop titled "Reality Check." Ms. Lown has a wonderful sense of humor and is a dynamic speaker.
